Depression Road
I was sad and lonely, depression was my friend,
Until I got down on my knees and let My Savior in.
He lifted all my burdens and forgave my every sin.
He took away my sorrow and helped me live, again.
I walked around with teardrops just streaming down my face.
I knew I couldn't last, for long, in that cold and lonely place.
Then, the Savior rescued me with His Amazing Grace.
So, now, I'm smiling all day long; He replaced my teardrops with His song.
My soul is light. He bore my load, for, it was dark, as a dungeon,
Out on Depression Road.

I cried unto thee, O Lord, I said,
"Thou art my refuge and my portion,
In the land of the living. Psalms 142:5

Touched By An Angel
Have you ever been touched by an angel,
One with invisible wings,
But you could swear you spotted a halo
Above the head of this spiritual dream?
Angels come with many disguises
And some we won't recognize.
But, you can tell they really are angels
By the imprint they leave on our lives.
These angels are filled with God's Spirit
And sent to earth, as part of His plan.
They're sustained with His love,
Sent from Heaven above,
Just waiting for the Master's command.
So, be careful how you treat a stranger.
For, they may not be strangers at all.
They stand, waiting for Heaven's instructions,
To catch you and me when we fall.

My Blessings
My blessings out number the stars in the sky;
Far too many to count, so I don't even try.
I wake up each morning to a beautiful day.
This, too, is a blessing in it's own way.
God has so many blessings He's planted
And sometimes, the best ones are taken for granted ...
Like our food and shelter, our hearing and sight,
And all of the stars that He brings out at night.
We are able to walk and able to feel.
We are blessed beyond measure with treasures so real.
So, each night, at bedtime when I start to pray,
I thank the Lord for my blessings,
At the end of each day.
Many Blessings

Lift Him Up
"Let's Lift Him Up" and Praise His Holy Name,
Drink from this cup that healed the blind and lame.
We don't give Our Savior credit; "Oh, No, not near enough,
So 'Let's All Stand', and 'Lift Him UP'.
Let's Praise His Holy Name; and sing His love -filled songs,
He saved our wretched souls when we thought all hope was gone.
So, 'Let's Lift Him Up' to the Heaven's if we can
And tell everyone, about His Great Redemption Plan.
You know we can't get to Heaven; without the Savior's cleansing blood
So, let's all stand up together And 'Lift Our Savior up!'
Many Blessings

Life Is .......
Life is a challenge that we all have to meet.
Life is a goal we must strive hard to reach.
Life is for sharing, when we all need to give.
Life is for loving, each day that we live.
Life is a promise that we try to fulfill.
Life is a struggle, when we're climbing up-hill.
Life is a mystery, we try to unfold.
Life is more precious than silver or gold.
Life is a gamble, we could win or lose.
Life is a choice we are what we choose.
Life is a puzzle, we try hard to solve.
Life is a cycle that has to revolve.
Life is for justice, that we may prevail;
Life is uplifting, when we try and still fail.
Life is forgiving and making new plans.
Life is for placing ourselves in God's hands.

Keep Me Humble
Lord, please keep me humble, as I face each coming day.
Help me do my Christian duties, help some lost soul to find their way.
Help to lighten someone's burden; Maybe, dry somebody's tears.
Lift someone up whose feeling lonely, help to calm their childish fears.
Say some kind words to a stranger, help to feed a hungry soul.
Maybe ,keep a child from danger, keep a heart from growing cold.
Lord, if you'll help to keep me humble, then, I won't face a hardened heart.
I'll let Your loving light shine through me, so I'll feel I've done my part.
Many Blessings:

JUST AS I AM
I've been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb,
My sins washed white as snow.
When the choir stood up to sing, "Just As I Am,"
My tears raged out of control.
I don't remember walking up to the alter
Or kneeling with my knees on the floor.
But, I do recall His sweet low voice,
When He came knocking at my heart's door.
I remember begging His forgiveness
For all of the things I'd done wrong.
I asked Him to take all my burdens,
The one's that I'd carried so long.
He said He'd forgive my transgressions
And toss them into the sea.
He said, "I will never forsake you,
Your soul will live on endlessly."
When I stood up from the alter;
My heart felt as light as thin air.
My sins, and burdens were lifted by The Lamb
That night the choir sang, "Just As I Am."

Verily, verily, I say unto you;
Except a man be born of water,
and of the spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God.

Just A Prayer Away
It's not too far to Heaven, it's just a prayer away.
Intently, God will listen, as you bow your head each day.
So, close your eyes and vision, you can see those streets of gold,
With beauty beyond measure; so breathtaking to behold.
You can even see the angels gather 'round God on His throne
While you listen to the praises of our Savior in their songs.
No, Heaven's not too far away when you close your eyes in prayer,
You can see exquisite beauty just let God's spirit take you there.
Many Blessings

And he carried me away in the spirit,
To a great and high mountain, and shewed me
That great city, The Holy Jerusalem,
Descending out of Heaven from God.

I Count My Blessings
I count my daily blessings, Lord,
And try to count them all.
But, it's like counting all the stars at night
Or the raindrops, when they fall.
For, my blessings are so many
And my troubles are so few ...
That the good always outweighs the bad;
Due to blessings, sent from You.
So, Father, please forgive me
If I fail to count the ways ...
As you have blessed my life immensely,
Through your love that never strays.
