CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

My Saviour was born,
Not only for me
But for all to be set free.

Just as that star shone bright,
That very night, when Christ was born;
All mankind was shown
That Jesus is the way, the truth, and life.

Jesus, the Son of God
(Perfect in every way, without flaw),
Came and dwelt among us;
A man, for some to see.

But, the mystery ...
He came with a plan;
If we only seek him, to understand
(For each person and man).

Christ Jesus, Son of God Almighty,
 Came to set us free
Eternally, if we only believe ...
And promised, by His Spirit, to never leave.

With all set aside, let His presence abide;
Taking a moment to reflect,
And with all respect,
That Christmas is Holy.

Yes, there is reason to be joyful and jolly;
Giving gifts and, with love, to lift
Our hearts with glad tidings.

But, in finding
The true meaning of Christmas,
We find Jesus.

Oh, my dear friend,
With Christ, in life, there is no end
To the possibilities, that He can do
And how he can also get you through.

I pray the true Spirit of Christmas,
Our Lord Jesus,
Will reach through to you
With his love ever so true.
May God bless you.

~WISE MEN STILL SEEK HIM~

Wise men still seek the Savior.
They seek the One who died at Calvary.
Wise men still bow before Him;
The One who died upon the old rugged tree.

Wise men follow on the path He leads them,
Knowing His paths lead to a better land.
Wise men simply trust in His promises.
Upon His Word they learn to stand.

We must seek, each day, to know Him better.
In His presence is fullness of joy and peace.
We have a King who lives forever.
He gives love, to the world, which shall never cease.

~ STRONG BELIEFS ~

Do we believe (with all our heart)
The report of the Lord, who died upon Calvary's tree?
We have been given truths within his Word.
His report says we are made whole and have been set free.

He was wounded for our transgressions,
Bruised for our iniquities.
Through the stripes He bore, we are given healing.
By his blood, we have salvation and peace.

He gladly bore the shame and sorrow of the cross,
Knowing the glory which would be revealed.
Now, we know in whom we have believed.
The message of salvation cannot be concealed.

Strong faith, in the Lord, is pleasing unto Him.
We know He rewards those who diligently seek his face.
Faith can move mountains, by the power of his might.
His supreme sacrifice is for every tribe and race.

The Wonder of It All

It was awesome and amazing
When God’s Son arrived on earth.
Every angel’s voice was praising,
At the moment of His birth.

His arrival was expected.
For, the scripture had foretold
That the Father had elected
That His Son would break the mould.

That mould of sin in human hearts,
That isolates the soul,
Is broken when the Son imparts
A faith that makes us whole.

He came to bring us life and joy,
And peace beyond compare;
A love that nothing can destroy,
On earth or anywhere.

What God arranged for us, that day,
Is what it’s all about.
New Hope arrives for men of clay;
Of that there is no doubt.

Accept the Gift God offers you.
Tell family, friend, and guest.
His love is true!  What did He do?
He Gave His Very Best !!!

THE DESIRE FOR A
JINGLE BELLS CHRISTMAS

In the book of Exodus, I read
How the priest entered God's presence
With golden bells on his garments and
A pure sacrifice to offer ~ was his essence.

Attached to his leg was a rope
That led outside the sanctuary.
As the blood for the sacrifice was collected,
A rope and bells did he carry.

It was ordained, from the living God,
To remove an unworthy sacrifice and its priest.
For, only the best was accepted by the Holy One;
Not a gift of the least ...

As Christmas comes but once a year
And we hear the jingle bells ring.
For, the priest made the sacrifice only once.
For atonement, for the people, it was everything.

As like the sacrifice from heaven came,
A menorah lit as a star to lead,
Welcome to the manger of the Shewbread
(As Christ is the bread of life);
Holy bread, sent to supply our need.

Meanwhile, the bells are ringing
As we approach with a sweet fragrance,
Lifting the sensor and waving it with praise
Before the veil of the Holy of Holies ~ before entrance.

The bells still ringing
As the priest goes beyond the veil,
There to sprinkle the sacrifice
Seven times ~ the blood accepted, if all is well.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Bring your praise and worship to the King.
Listen for the bells of Christmas day.

As you make your offering before God,
Ring the bells for Christ the King.
Present yourself a living sacrifice;
Pure and Holy, prayerfully.
HEAR, OH, HEAR THE BELLS RING.

As the people waited
To hear the priestly bells ring,
To Know God has accepted and He is with us,
Honor and glory the Yule tide carols sing.

Light the menorah, feast at the stable,
Wave the sensor.  Oh, come, worship the king.
Enter with thanksgiving.
Let the jingle bells ring.

Lord, make me wholly acceptable,
That the bells on my garment might sound;
That I have followed the menorah light
And the Christmas babe I've found.

Though no longer in a manger,
For the cruel cross of Calvary, its bare ~
Ring out the bells, o ye people.  He is alive.
Let your jingle bells ring out everywhere.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
From the Old Testament unto the New.
To Bethlehem, from the desert tabernacle,
Are your jingle bells ringing out pure and true.

Cowgirl Christmas

We've gathered up the mistletoe
And placed it near the door.
So, come on by and join me.
We'll shuffle 'round the floor.

My boots are shined and ready.
Come give this gal a whirl.
We'll sashay 'cross the dance floor
To watch the snowflakes twirl.

We'll sip some apple cider
And snuggle up real close,
Maybe sing some carols
And watch the cold winds blow.

The tree lights twinkle brightly,
Just like your star filled eyes.
The beauty of the season
Causes me to sigh!

How wonderful is Christmas
When it's shared with those we love.
It's a special Cowgirl Christmas,
Sent from Heaven above!

DEDICATED TO THE LORD

Our allegiance is to the one who set us free.
We dedicate our heart, mind, and soul.
We praise the One who died upon Calvary's tree.
He will keep us, in his love, safely in the fold ...

If we have committed our hearts to Him.
He has given us power over sin.
He has redeemed our soul.  We have new life and peace.
God's love, for his children, will never cease.

Our hearts look to our Savior, who saved and set us free.
There is no other who cares for us as our Lord.
One day, He shall return; for you and for me.
He will take us to our heavenly home, to receive our promised reward.
